Course Description:

Most people who were attacked, robbed or worse were not alert or aware of their surroundings. They were considered soft  targets or what we refer to as: “Unblocked Targets.” The Blocked Target Safety Awareness Class will explore the importance of presenting a strong presence, being alert and aware of potential attackers or dangerous situations.

This course is divided into two parts. You’ll learn the importance of safety awareness and also participate in hands on safety training. A lesson manual will be provided for this class.

In this course you’ll learn how to do the following:

• Be alert and aware of your surroundings.

• Recognize suspicious activities, people and behaviors.

• Correct your body language to avoid becoming a target.

• Practice safety awareness moves and techniques.

• Use verbal commands effectively.

• React to real life situational awareness exercises.

• How to use everyday items for defense and much more!

Once you have successfully completed the course you will receive a Brick Street Safety Academy Completion Certificate.
