Pay attention to your subconscious mind, it may be talking to you.
Pay attention to your subconscious mind, it may be talking to you.
Something just doesn’t feel right to you. “Am I being followed?” You ask yourself. The hair on the back of your neck and on your arms stands on end. You feel a little short of breath; you may even be panting. It feels like you’re being followed. Are you?
Trust you gut, intuition, God’s Whisper, 6th sense. It comes by these and many more words. Your body senses something is wrong but you might not even consciously know of any threat. Every wonder why this is happening?
Your subconscious mind is able to process many multiple streams of data coming at you. It can detect changes in wind, temperature, smell, using all of your senses to detect whether you should flee the area. In contrast our conscious mind, the one that is reading these words can only really process one thing at a time.
As I write these words, I am listening to relaxing ambient music. Just before I started, I was listening to a speaking podcast where the host interviews people. I turned it off because the talking gets in the way of my ability to write at the same time.
If you’re on foot or in a vehicle and that feeling comes over you that something is wrong; don’t ignore it. It is your bodies’ way of telling you that there is a problem. Remember that your body doesn’t speak words to you, it speaks in other ways. If you wait until you can tell what the threat is and where it is coming from in your conscious mind, it very well may be too late.
In another post we’ll discuss some of the ways that you subconscious mind speaks to you.
Until then,
Be Alert. Be Aware. And be SAFE!
