Course Description:

BSSA Introduction To Firearms Safety Class will take you step by step through very basic information regarding pistols. Students will gradually work through several skill sets to ease any fears or nervousness when handling a firearm.

This course is divided into two parts. You’ll learn the basics of firearms in a classroom setting and also put into practice what you’ve learned in our Airsoft Training Range.

Who is this class for?

• Those who are not yet ready for a CPL or CCW.

• Individuals who have no experience with firearms.

• Individuals who are nervous about handling and carrying a firearm.

• Those with questions and concerns.

• Those who would like to obtain more knowledge about firearms.

• Men, Women and Seniors.

In this course you’ll learn the following:

• Six stages of awareness.

• Various parts of a pistol.

• How pistols work.

• Proper Stances.

• Appropriate grip.

• How to properly load, unload and reload a firearm.

• Safety information and rules on how to properly handle, carry and store a handgun.

• State laws and regulations and much more!!

Although this class is basic, it is very intensive and informative. You will not leave away uninformed or unprepared.

The goal at completion of this class is to instill helpful firearm knowledge, ease tensions, fear and nervousness of firearms and lastly, prepare our students for the next step if they so desire to take our CPL/CCW class.
