BSSA Shoot or Don’t Shoot Scenario Firearm Training

This class is a shoot or don’t shoot simulation class. You’ll participate in several scenarios and decide whether to shoot or not to shoot. This class is helpful in training the mind to think, act and respond safely and responsibly to different real life scenarios.

BSSA Firearms Simulation Training

This practice session is great for students who would like to put what they’ve learned into action. Anyone with firearm experience or training is welcome to practice their aim, grip, stance, timing and accuracy level. We use a laser based simulation system that allows you to practice without going through boxes of ammunition.  A certified firearm instructor will be on call to assist you as you practice and go over diagnostic findings.

BSSA Firearms 2.0 Skills and Drills Safety Class

Firearm 2.0 Skills and Drills is an intermediate class for individuals with some experience with firearms or who have taken a CPL/CCW Class. If you have little to no experience with firearms check out our Introduction to Firearms Safety class before taking this class.
Firearm 2.0 Skills and Drills is a hands-on-training class that will help firearm owners to be safe, alert and responsible individuals. This class takes students out of the text books and comfort zones into reality based scenarios, situational awareness exercises, simulations drills, practice proper firearm handling and movement drills and much more!

BSSA TASER Safety Class

This class focuses on the What, When, Why and How concerning TASERS. You will learn how to safely carry, store and employ a TASER, learn the difference between Tasers/Stun Guns and explore laws that pertain to the use and carry of Tasers.
This class is great for individuals who have a desire to protect themselves but are NOT presently interested in carrying a firearm or for those who are firearm owners who would like to add a TASER for their personal protection needs.

BSSA Blocked Target Safety Awareness Class

Most people who were attacked, robbed or worse were not alert or aware of their surroundings. They were considered soft  targets or what we refer to as: “unblocked Targets.” The Blocked Target Safety Awareness Class will explore the importance of presenting a strong presence, show safety awareness techniques and tips to help protect you from potential attackers or dangerous situations.

S.T.O.P. Basic Self-Defense Tactics Class For Women

As a student of S.T.O.P., you’ll learn how to effectively use each of the stages of S.T.O.P—See, Think, Observe and Protect to better protect yourself from becoming a target or a victim. This class explores several basic safety defense tactics to help protect you from potential attackers or dangerous situations. You’ll learn how to be more alert and aware of suspicious activity and threats. Lastly, you’ll learn how to avoid becoming a soft target and how to use basic self-defense moves.

NRA Courses:

The following NRA classes are taught by certified NRA Instructors.

(CPL/CCW) NRA personal protection in the home Class

Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development.
This course qualifies under Michigan Firearms Law for the CCW/CPL and the NRA-National Rifle Association.

NRA Refuse to be a victim Class

The seminar includes classroom instruction on a variety of crime prevention strategies, from criminal psychology to automobile crimes to cyber-crime. Seminars can vary in length, and may be modified to suit the needs of a particular audience. This is not a firearms instruction course, and does not include instruction in physical combat self-defense. Seminars teach about common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and teaches a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive, and easy to follow.
