BSSA Safety Class Recommendations
BSSA Safety Class Recommendations
Not sure what safety class to take?
No worries. We instruct different levels of firearms and self-defense classes. We also teach a TASER class for those who do not want to carry a firearm. Basically, it depends on what you are most comfortable in learning and what protective device(s) that you would like to carry or not carry with you. If you’re interested in one of our firearms classes, we strongly suggest that you take our Firearms Diagnostic Assessment Test to see what class may be right for you.
BSSA Firearms Diagnostic Assessment Test click here. (Your assessment is not seen or submitted to us. We do not see your results. This test is solely to see how much you know and what firearms class you should take. This assessment may pop-up in a new window. Please close window when you have completed your assessment.)
Class Choices:
The following classes are our main safety classes.
Firearm Safety Classes:
There are three firearm safety classes that we offer. If you have not taken our firearms assessment test. We strongly suggest that you do so, especially if you’re unsure of what class to take.
If you took your firearms assessment test check below for class recommendation.
If your assessment score is…
70-100% We recommend a CPL Class or a refresher CPL course if your permit has recently expired.
0-69% We recommend our introduction to Firearms Safety Class.
For our Firearms 2.0 Skills and Drills class we suggest a score of 70% or higher to take this class. This class is not for beginners. You must know specific firearm terminology and the basics of firearms to move through this class smoothly.
