ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF THE BSSA EDU Interactive Safety Assessment Training Portal Membership:
AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS. As a site user and/or registered member, you are in agreement and acknowledge that you have read and understand the Terms Of Membership Services, Website Terms, Limitation Of Liability, Eligibility And Privacy Policies presented and is bonded to all terms of this agreement. If you are not in agreement or in compliant with all membership terms set forth, then your membership will be revoked or terminated for use.
AGE ELIGIBILITY. Authorization for use of this site is 18-years of age or older to obtain a membership, register for classes or for website use on Brick Street Safety Academy.com website and the BSSA EDU Interactive Safety Assessment Training Portal. As a User or a Registered Member, you are affirming that you are of the legal age of eighteen-years of age or older to be eligible to use this site, register for classes or for membership as well as agree to the terms of this agreement.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS & FORMS. Accepting Terms of Service and/or Membership, you agree that any communication, updates, disclosures, notices, legal agreements, forms etc., if deemed necessary received for legal use in place of traditional correspondences, will be performed electronically in the form of emails, texts, or secured electronic forms. You agree that by electronically clicking/checking any legal requirement of this agreement or any e-communication/form presented by Brick Street Safety Academy.com and all its affiliates, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of service and use.
ACCOUNT/ MEMBER’S INFORMATION. Information submitted to register for a class or to obtain a membership/account must be valid, accurate and current. It is important to register with a valid email. Your email will be used as your login along with a password that you create. You will receive a confirmation email to verify the validity of the email before granted access to your account. It is also required to provide a valid telephone/mobile number. Calls are ONLY made if there is an issue with your account or payment. If any of the mentioned information provided at registration is found to be fraudulent, this action will immediately suspend/terminate your account and/or restrict access to activities and/or classes. It is important to keep your account up-to-date. Therefore, by creating an account for membership, you are agreeing that all information submitted by you at registration is valid, accurate and current.
LOGIN PASSWORD. Your email is your User login information. Your password is the password that you create/submitted at registration. It is advised that you do not share your password with those that don’t comply with the terms of this agreement. It is your responsibility to NOT share with those that you know to be minors under the age of 18-years of age. If deceptive mistreatment of your account is evident and shows unusual activity, fraud and/or any violation of this agreement, such actions will result in immediate termination of all use of service and membership.
SECURITY. It is your responsibility as a User and/or Member to protect access to your membership account and to make sure that your device(s) are protected against malicious malware or threats. It is also important to place safeguards on your device(s) if the device(s) is used by a minor(s) turn off “Remember Me” or “Keep Me Logged In” do not click those particular boxes if device(s) is used by a minor. Therefore, you agree that you are responsible for the security of your devices, confidentiality of your password and actions conducted on or through your account. In addition, you also understand and agree that Brick Street Safety Academy and all its collective affiliates are not responsible for any malicious attack on your account, computers, mobile devices, laptops or any devices that you are able to sign into your account on. It is imperative to contact us immediately if your password has been stolen and/or your account has been breached, hacked or has been compromised by an unauthorized user.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You agree that after registering for your BSSA EDU Interactive Safety Assessment Training Portal Membership, that you have 10-days to cancel your membership and receive a refund minus a $25.00 membership account cancellation/deletion fee. If you decide to cancel any time after the ten days, you will receive a pro rata refund of the remaining membership balance minus a $25.00 membership account cancellation/deletion fee. You further agree that it is your responsibility to contact customer service to cancel your membership to avoid any charges/deductions.
PAYMENT/BILLING INFORMATION:
Payment is conducted through a secure server (PayPal). Membership fees are collected annually for a 12-month period. You agree that if payment is not rendered, processed and/or cleared in its totality, access to your account/membership will be prohibited, suspended or terminated. In addition to this agreement, if you’re notified of an issue with your payment, it is your responsibility to contact us and to address any internal payment processing issues with your financial institution, credit/debit card provider to avoid any interruptions to your account/service. You will be notified 30-days before your annual membership subscription is due for renewal. After the 30-days, payments will automatically charge to your preferred method of payment.
GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP:
You agree that if you participate, promote, incite, provoke or engage in the following egregious offenses when in use of the BSSA EDU Interactive Safety Assessment Training Portal community forums, your membership will be revoked/deactivated/terminated effectively immediately.
- Egregious Offenses For Grounds For Membership Termination:
- Use of offensive, derogatory, dangerous and/or threatening speech, language or content.
- Use of sexist, misogynistic speech, language, comments, images, links and/or content.
- Sharing of pornographic comments, content, materials, images, links, audios etc.
- Use of hateful, bigoted, homophobic, racist discriminatory speech, comments, expressions, images, links and/or content.
